This introductory course is a stepping stone towards a higher-level course in counselling or psychology. It is aimed at those wanting a career in this sector. The course introduces you to psychological theories and approaches, and basic counselling skills.

What will I study?

You'll learn the theoretical concepts, skills and approaches to counselling and develop a working knowledge of counselling ethics and boundaries. You'll learn through groupwork, lectures and guest speakers.
