Complaints procedure

Our aim is to get things right first time so we value student comments and suggestions. We also value any complaints we receive.

Our complaints procedure is based on the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman model (https://www.spso.org.uk/the-model-complaints-handling-procedures)

We aim to conduct thorough, impartial and fair investigations of complaints so that we can make evidence-based decisions.

You can complain by phone, in writing, by email or by using our complaints form.

Freedom of information

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives you the right to ask for, and to be given, information from public authorities in Scotland.

You can ask us for recorded information about anything, including information held on paper or electronically. If we hold that information, we will supply it if it is not subject to one of the exemptions in the Act.
