Advanced 3D Modelling and Precision Engineering: Design for the Real World!

In this advanced-level course, you'll:

· Master Precision 3D Modelling:

o Variable-Driven Construction: Learn to use Parametric Design so your models update automatically when measurements change.

o Advanced Extrusion Methods: Explore complex solid modelling tools to create professional, high-strength components.

o Accurate Reverse Engineering: Use digital callipers to measure, design, and print perfectly fitting spare parts for existing objects.

· Engineer Functional Assemblies:

o Moving Parts and Fit: Master mechanical tolerances to ensure parts fit together or rotate smoothly every time.

o Hardware Integration: Design objects specifically to house real-world bolts, threads, and fasteners.

o Advanced Slicing: Use Cura to optimise internal structures for mechanical durability and strength.

· Get Hands-on Experience:

o Complex Project Development: Dive into practical exercises creating multi-part mechanical systems.

o Advanced Print Troubleshooting: Identify and solve sub-millimetre engineering challenges on your Creality printer.

What are the entry requirements?

Previous experience required! This workshop is a follow-on course; completion of the "Introduction to 3D Modelling & 3D Printing" course or equivalent Fusion knowledge is essential.
