Intro to the course:

Digital business support services are predicted growth areas for employment in Lanarkshire over the next four years. The HNC in Business reflects the changes needed to accommodate the rapidly changing technological developments that have disrupted the internal and external business environments, and the increasing drive for businesses to use digital online models and app technology. You will be introduced to the various disciplines needed to provide a more holistic understanding of running and managing a business. Who is the course for?

This course will prepare you for numerous opportunities in the business, administration and IT sector. You'll learn how to use word, databases, spreadsheets and communication skills for administrative management tasks in

a fast-moving business environment. Units may also include human resources, marketing and enterprise. You will be taught by our multi-talented lecturers who have with extensive experience of the industry and you will have opportunities to participate in sector visits and learning from industry expert guest speakers.
