South Lanarkshire College is delighted to have received three nominations for the 2026 Herald Education Awards.

The Herald's Education Awards recognise Colleges, Universities and our staff teams who have excelled across this past year and made lasting positive impacts on our communities.

South Lanarkshire College's triple nomination highlights the amazing work that has been undertaken this year, especially across the areas of strategic engagement, business innovation and improving student wellbeing.

South Lanarkshire College has been shortlisted for the following awards:

Partnership Award
EcoPreneur

In partnership with Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway Colleges, South Lanarkshire College's EcoPrenuer project has been embedding entrepreneurial mindsets into college programmes, helping to reimagine our curriculums and upskilling our educators in order to drive innovation in a net zero economy. Led by our Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) Champions, the project has equipped college educators with the skills to drive innovation, resilience, and strengthened Scotland’s green skills pipeline.

Supporting Student Wellbeing Award
