South Lanarkshire College is thrilled to work in partnership with EK Collective, who are kindly hosting this year’s HND Photography student exhibition - entitled Next Chapter - from Thursday 5 June until Thursday 12 June. This eagerly anticipated event will offer a firsthand look at the innovative perspectives of our next generation of photographers.

EK Collective have been working with the College for several months as a valued partner through the College Local Innovation Centre (CLIC) project. With a view to supporting students and enhancing their learning and professional experiences, EK Collective are providing the perfect platform for students to exhibit their picture-perfect moments.

All photographs on display are part of the student's course work, created across various units throughout their HND journey. The exhibition is free and open to members of the public.

At the heart of the initiative is our ongoing and blossoming relationship with Collective Communities CIC (trading as EK Collective), led by Director, David McBeth and Business Development Manager, Fiona Colbron-Brown.

Fiona said: “We are thrilled to be supporting this event. Promoting entrepreneurial mindsets and supporting local enterprises, is our mission at EK Collective. We are particularly delighted to be supporting the creative industries, as we aim to help budding entrepreneurs and established businesses in all sectors on their journey to reach their ambitions.

”This event is more than an exhibition - it’s an inspiring testament to what happens when creativity meets opportunity. We’d love to see as many people as possible come along to experience the energy, talent, and ambition of this year’s South Lanarkshire College students.”

South Lanarkshire College Lecturer of Business Management Media and Tourism, Denise McDonald said: “We are all incredibly proud of the exceptional work our HND Photography students have produced this year. Their creativity, talent and hard work is evident in every piece of work displayed in this year’s exhibition.

“It’s a pleasure to see many genres of photography from the students in their final exhibition. This offers a fantastic platform to showcase their talent to the wider community.”
