This course allows learners to develop knowledge and understanding of the events industry in areas such as events organisation and events costing. It also develops key transferable skills in areas such as customer care, health and safety, and marketing.

Major hotels and hospitality operations are now operating events facilities within their complexes. In addition there has been a huge increase in the number of festivals, sporting events, outdoor concerts and purpose built venues for events.
