Upgrade to Cabin Crew and Tourism Operation is an interactive and practical course designed to enhance your knowledge of tourist destinations and the many and varied roles within the sector. 

You will develop excellent customer service skills, discover dynamic employability subjects and enhance your career prospects. This course ensures you are well prepared for further studies in this area which could lead to an exciting career in this growing industry. 

This course is supported by guest lectures from those who work in the travel business and learn about the job opportunities available in this exciting industry.  External visits will also be part of your course. 

You will achieve a Travel and Tourism SCQF Level 6 qualification

You will learn skills that are needed to get an entry level role in the travel industry, working in airport ground operations, airlines, travel agents or with tour operators.

  • three National 5 qualification(s) including Communication and Numeracy
  • NC in Travel and Tourism at SCQF level 5
  • equivalent recognised qualification
  • adult returners with relevant work experience 
  • if English is not your first language, an interview to support your application may be beneficial

What are the interview arrangements?

Offers made will be based on your application.  Those who do not meet the minimum entry requirements will be invited for an individual interview.
