Intro to the course:

The introduction to Painting and Decorating at SCQF level 4 is suitable for those who wish to follow this as a career. The course introduces learners to general workplace health and safety, a range of painting and decorating tasks such as decorative painting and the safe use of hand-tools and equipment. 

In addition, this course develops knowledge and understanding of the construction industry; practical, technical and transferable skills; oral, written and evaluation abilities; resource management; problem solving and planning; organisational and communication skills.
