The College has excellent links with local Universities and Higher Education Institutions - in particular, with The University of the West of Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University and Napier University. Several HE institutions produce a prospectus specially for College students wishing to use their HNC/D qualifications to progress directly into second or third year degree level study. Ask in the College Library for a copy of their prospectus. In November, information sessions are organised for those students thinking of progressing to full-time degree level study. Students who are planning to progress to university must complete the UCAS application before the January deadline to ensure that they enter the UCAS system in time to be offered a place. Failure to meet the deadline will mean that your application will be held until clearing and you may not receive an offer of a place.
In May, information sessions are organised in College for those students thinking of progressing to part-time degree level study.
