Hair & Beauty Salons & Spa

Students in the Faculty of Care's Hairdressing & Make-up Artistry and Beauty Therapy departments require to undertake treatments with clients as part of their training.  These treatments are undertaken under the supervision of fully trained and qualified lecturers and are at an appropriate level for the competence of the student(s) involved.  However, we would ask you to appreciate that while every effort is made to provide a professional service, this is a training situation and from time to time treatments may take longer than anticipated and clients must be prepared to allow students to complete the treatment.

The full range of hairdressing services is not available in all classes and treatments are available only during term time when the students are in college.  Please see the table below for an indication of likely availability of treatments.  Our reply email will confirm if the treatment you have requested is available at the time requested.  A small charge is made to help cover the cost of products and laundry.

Due to health and safegy regulations, a skin test is required 24-48 hours prior to every eyebrown tint, eyelash tint or eyelash perm.  Treatment will not be carried out unless a skin test has been completed and a vaild skin test receipt is presented.
