The Scottish Qualifications Authority is the main accreditation body for qualifications in Scotland.SQA courses at South Lanarkshire College generally fall within the SCQF levels shown below.
National Certificate - SCQF levels 2 - 6
Access 2 / Access 3 / Intermediate 1 / 2 / Higher
SVQ Level 1 / 2 / 3 - SCQF levels 4 - 6/7
Scottish Vocational Qualification
HNC - SCQF level 7
Higher National Certificate
HND - SCQF level 8
Higher National Diploma
PDA Level 1 / 2 / 3 - SCQF levels 6-8
