Students Prepare Lunch for the Master Chefs| 01.10.11
South Lanarkshire College Chef Lecturer David Auchie led a team of ten SVQ 2 and 3 students on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of October to prepare and present the food for this year’s Master Chefs of Great Britain Awards at the prestigious 'Turnberry Hotel and Golf Resort' on the Ayrshire coast.The students Allan Morton, Matt Gannon, Stuart Suttie, Jen McCall, Chris Smith, Scott Cockburn, Rhys Farmer, Sammy Fattah, Shelby Wilson and Romy Baird spent the weekend in College preparing the menu before travelling to Turnberry for the final preparations and the lunch for 186 guests.

David had nothing but praise for the students and said “they have made both themselves and the college extremely proud'.
At the end of the lunch the students were presented with a framed certificate as a memento of their participation and as a thank you from the Master Chefs of Great Britain.
